This Wordshop™, HABIT VS RITUAL, is an opportunity to identify the words you have been telling yourself about who you are and who you are capable of being. It is about re-writing your story, one word at a time.
Our lives are defined by the words we hear in our heads. The words we think become the words we write, the words we speak. They become the words that identify us.
The decisions we ourselves make, that hurt us, are defined by those words in our heads. The good news is that we can change those words to tell a new story that helps us.
Wordshop™ is a workshop for managing this self-talk. It is a practical tool for changing the chatter that does not serve you. This Wordshop™, HABIT VS RITUAL, is an opportunity to identify the words you have been telling yourself about who you are and who you are capable of being. It is about re-writing your story, one word at a time.
Inspired to take action after attending a Wordshop™ in NYC, Lisa Scheller founded Hope & Coffee.
Christine D'Ercole, inspired in turn by how Lisa truly exemplifies the spirit of her work, has volunteered to present Wordshop™ right here at Hope & Coffee - Tamaqua.
You won't want to miss this exciting event!
In Lisa's words:
"In late spring 2016, I attended one of Christine's first Wordshops™ in New York City. At the end of the Wordshop™, I summarized my feelings: I AM proud of my recovery from addiction. I CAN use my story to help others recover. I WILL use my experience, strength and hope to help others. I DO help others recover."
One result is the founding of Hope & Coffee [hopeandcoffee.org], a charitable, recovery-friendly coffee shop in Lisa's hometown to help a people and a town in recovery.
All proceeds benefit Hope & Coffee.
